Why ownership transfer matters

The engagement ends. The system needs to keep running.

workflow.audit → build → handover
ownership transfer

Every engagement we run has a handover built in from the start. Not as an afterthought. As a design constraint.

What bad handover looks like

Bad handover is common: a system is built, it works, the consultant leaves, and three months later something breaks and nobody knows how to fix it. The system becomes a black box that everyone is afraid to touch.

This happens when handover is treated as documentation, a set of files handed over at the end. It's not enough.

What good handover looks like

Good handover is a transfer of understanding, not just files. Your team should be able to answer these questions without calling us:

  • What does this system do, end to end?
  • What happens when something goes wrong?
  • Where do I look when I need to change something?
  • Who owns this now?
"If you never call us again, what we built still runs."

How we approach it

We build on open platforms. We document as we build, not after. We include training as part of every engagement. And we include a 30-day support window so your team can ask questions while the system is still fresh.

The goal is that on day 31, you don't need us. That's not bad for business. That's what good looks like.
